Informational Handbooks
Under this tab are four Handbooks for use in schools that include: A handbook of best practices for educating homeless students written for teachers; a handbook written for school-based mental health providers with adaptations for counseling students who have experienced trauma including those in foster care and who are homeless; a handbook for school professionals providing information about the foster care system and the needs of students in its care; and a handbook for paraprofessionals that reinforces and expands upon the information presented in the paraprofessional PowerPoint.
